Studio F-ARTs from September
People of the internet. Hello.
How are you all doing? All good?
I am excited to tell you that the team at All Will Rise got featured in the Guardian along with my work 🙂
That is so crazy!

And now back to studio news.
Prohibition: A Hangover of Failures
The blog on prohibition seems to be getting some attention online. To put it into context, I am of the opinion that prohibition has collapsed under its own hypocrisy every time it has been attempted. Yet governments keep circling back to the idea, mostly for voting points. No one really seems to care about the addicted!
But given that prohibition does not work, then what is the alternative? Not sure.
Another unintended consequence of putting my thoughts out there was that a very kind human reached out to me with their work on the neuroscience of addiction — Sober Synthesis — Have a read 🙂
The Thousand Arms
I wrote a blog about the art style and how that does not work anymore for where the project is. Don’t have answers right now, but I attached my thinking and some references for you to consider. Also shared a snippet from the current version of the prologue. Let me know what you all think.
Further notes on building in public
I also published a longer assessment of building in public. Through this assessment I realised I was using the marketing funnel upside down. haha. And as soon as I have turned it back up I can already see the difference; there is an upward trend in website visits and I am also gaining followers on both Instagram and Threads. But so far, there are no signups.
I will be honest here, I do not fully understand what is happening. But it’s a start and I am telling myself that my main goal is to cut down on the imposter syndrome. haha
These things, those things
Here are two absolute gems I found on the internet
— I had never heard of this gentleman before. Vaddadi Papaiah but what a treat his work is. I grew up on similar artworks and the style is very much imprinted on me. But these mythological artworks are just so beautiful.
— Also found a really nice video on Moebius, How one artist invented modern pop culture (Moebius documentary). He obviously has been a big influence on my early work. But I was not aware of a lot of the history of his work before. I highly recommend the video if you are an artist.
— Also, also, if you are an artist starting out, and are interested in learning to draw anatomy correctly you should definitely, watch Mmmmonexx. He is a gold mine of knowledge.

Thats all the updates this month. I did work on a bunch of client work, but I still have to check with them if I can talk about that here.
You all have a good one until next time.
Breathe 🙂
